Excellent display from Harrington. How on earth he hasn’t got
higher profile games in his run of form I’ll never know.
Bold, brave and ultimately correct with the RC for Gueye.
And he was pretty much faultless throughout, good free kick
       detection and consistent.
Maybe a little lenient with Everton time wasting. I don’t think
they ever pushed it to the limit but they were a bit slow in
between restarts but that’s to be expected for a team with 10
       men.
Again, 4 minutes a bit kind but Man United should be looking to
       a) score a goal playing 80 minutes against 10 men and b) not
conceding against 10 men before they start looking at anyone
       else.
Top class from Harra. Can’t fault him.

The main thing I would say on the red card is how many
complaints were there from Everton players? Absolutely none
that I saw, and that to me suggests the expected decision within
       football was a red card.

Faultless from Harrington a vastly underrated referee amongst
the powers that be , how he doesn’t get a decent run is beyond
me with the current list already depleted with injuries surely
there is no reason why they can’t give him a run of games
especially as they will need to ease the returning referees into
the fold with the hectic Xmas schedule looming
As for Utd pfffff what a load of dross we’ve gone backwards 10
       steps

If the slap was against the other team or much later in the game
there would be no discussion about it (I do think part of the
reason it’s a discussion in the first place is the way referees
are told to manage games early so obvious bookings are ignored)
       great game by Harrington

I still cannot be sure where Keane was struck or indeed the
level of force used. My eyes again. However Harrington had a
great view and was best placed to judge the incident. I'm happy
to go with his decision. Gueye should get an extra ban for
failing to leave the pitch imho, although his teammates did a
very good job to defuse the situation. Darren Cann summed it up
well last night on radio 5.
Harrington is a fine referee and had a good game but I do feel
Kartowski should have got a yellow for "leaving his mark" on a
       player early on.

And Everton appealed it....... rejected with no reason given so
       far.

I would have thought the reason should be staring them in the
face, no pun intended. Quite surprised they haven't had an
extra suspension added for a frivolous appeal.
