Shades of Bowyer and Dyer all over again.. although without the
       punching and shirt ripping.
Shocking from Ganda to strike his own player!!
Has to be a red card.

Looks soft but it has to be a red card. What is he thinking.
       Missed yellow for tarkowski earlier

Not convinced it’s a red. Negligible for me.
But, play stupid games, win stupid prizes!

Negligible force? Would Taylor or Oliver issued red? Actually I
agree with Gary Neville, really a yellow and I'm sure we have
seen similar incidents where a YC has been issued. Nevertheless,
a stupid thing to do and thereby pose a question to the referee.
When he calms down, he will perhaps realise that making contact
with a colleague's head was daft.

I’m gonna play devils advocate here.
The only reason we’re asking if it’s a red card is because it’s
a teammate and a teammate isn’t going to go flailing to the
       floor.
Why would Keane go to the floor? Realistically he doesn’t want
his teammate sent off. If it was an opposing player, they would
fall to the floor, a RC would be issued for VC and nobody
questions it. Only because it’s his teammate who doesn’t go
flailing to the floor is why we’re questioning it.
Excellent, brave decision by Harrington. Will have his work cut
out now though I feel with Everton taking the lead.

Shocking goal kick decision for Taylor.hes right there and it’s
       not exactly light touch

I’m not sure Harrington can be criticised for giving a red card
for me - it’s clearly a strike to the face. Maybe not the most
forceful, but definite Red if done against an opponent, and law
makes no distinction between an opponent or teammate for violent
       conduct!

A decision that is probably right within the laws of the game,
but I think it's soft, it was more of a push away than a
       slap/punch and I'll be honest - I preferred football at a time
when stuff like that could be let go with a telling off from the
referee and a couple of yellow cards personally.
I also think within the law itself he has a bit of discretion
here and I feel he should have taken the opportunity to take
advantage of that and manage it sensibly.

They keep showing the replays in slo mo with Carragher and
Neville harping on about negligible contact..
In full speed, it’s a slap across the face.
If that gets a yellow card we’d all be screaming blue murder and
consistency if another incident happens between teams or
       internally and it’s sanctioned differently.
It’s a red card, that’s the standard that should be applied in
all circumstances where a player is struck.

Excellent non-penalty decision there. Having an excellent game
       once again is Harrington.
