World class by Marciniak once again in a blood and thunder
contest.
Has let a cracking game flow and rightfully disallowed
Hoijlund’s goal for a push.

I definitely jinxed it.. poor not to even give a free kick for
the foul which VAR had to come in and say it was a penalty.
I can understand if he wasn’t sure if it was a penalty, but to
not give a free kick is baffling.

Agreed, for someone of his calibre to not even give a free kick
was strange. It was a clear-cut foul.
I’m not entirely convinced it was on the line. No camera angles
that were shown have clear evidence in my eyes. But I’m sure the
VAR have got it right.

Oh dear, that is a terrible second yellow card for Kristensen
for the foul on McGinn.
After an exemplary first half, Marciniak has gone off the rails
in the second half.

That’s an absolute shocking second yellow. McGinn chucks himself
on floor. Can’t believe a ref of his calibre has second yellowed
for that. It now looks like the extra man has paid off for
Scotland. What a dreadful decision

Definitely more of the pre-2022 Marciniak this evening, very
messy and poor foul detection
I honestly think without that World Cup final appointment he’d
be regarded no higher than Nyberg, Guida, Siebert etc. Never
rated him until then.
But what a cracking game! Congrats to Scotland on being the
first team out next summer😁

What a match. Three incredible goals from Scotland all worthy of
qualifying for a World Cup.
Marciniak wasn’t great. The non-award of the penalty was
bizarre. The RC for Kristiansen was wrong. And not great foul
detection throughout.
Always portrays good authority and body language but from a
decision making perspective, very poor indeed.

The second caution for Kristensen was a howler of a decision, it
wasn't even close to being a foul. Once he gave the free kick
the caution was inevitable, but there is no way on earth that
was a foul, he really needed help from one of his colleagues
there.
