How much do these idiots get paid to spout absolute nonsense?
       Blimey.
Are we ever going to get back to half decent punditry? This is
ridiculous to be saying this on one of the countries supposedly
       better sports media outlets.
I really hope Michael Oliver produces a flawless performance on
Sunday. Not that it would shut these guys up.

This guy is worse than Hackett…
I don’t bother watching any of the garbage and dross that’s
spouted when referees are discussed by so called ex playing
       pundits.
Even Gallagher and his weekly edition has been ruined by
       Bothroyd.
       I switch channels straight away.
The only show I will watch is the refs micd up which provides a
calmer, more logic explanation of what’s happening.

O'Hara was a very average footballer and seems to be an even
       worse pundit.
We referees are better than comments like this! bmb

I've been subjected to this "expert" when in a friend's car
coming home from matches. It's frankly astonishing that such an
ill-informed individual is given airtime on a national radio
station. It's no wonder officials at grassroots get so much
abuse when people like him are allowed to spout their
       prejudices.
I don't remember him as a player at all. Presumably a journeyman
       within the M25?

Sadly the media aren’t bothered about how informed he is, only
about how much clickbait he can produce.

I completely agree with your first line. However, the second
veers into unnecessary personal criticism, something the world
would be better off without. In a week in which a non-league
match was abandoned due to personal abuse directed at the
referee, we should be striving to set a better example on this
       forum.
