This game is live on FIFA+ online, with the winner qualifying
for a playoff final to reach the World Cup. Gabon have just been
robbed off a penalty (and possibly RC) for a clear shirt pull
with the attacker destined to head the ball in the net. Tom was
sent to the screen, spent 5 minutes watching the footage and
inexplicably stuck with his original call of no penalty. Up
there as the worst decision I’ve ever seen

Looks like a very slight pull on the sleeve at most? Not sure
it’s quite up there with the worst decision you’ve ever seen,
surely?!

I don’t see it that way. I think it’s a desperate attempt to
stop an attacker scoring a goal. Clearly impactful and sustained
holding imo

Anyone got a video? All I could find was a still, which
obviously makes it difficult to judge the impact it may or may
not have had.

Mr Tom has surprisingly not made the cut for the pre World Cup
seminars, indicating this decision did not go down well..
