Wrongly so as anyone who has played the game will tell you. When
turning, as Keane was, his arms have to move with the body
because they are attached and they can go nowhere else other
than where they went. THe problem is that it would appear that
so many people have not played the game at a decent level and
have no conception of what happens when you are turning at
speed.
THomas Bramaal did extremely well tonight in a hositle
atmosphere because he had disciplined two Sunderland players
early on and righly so.

WHich was not a kick to the face, he never touched him, however,
as had happened on several occaions the Sunderland player wnet
down clutching his face. THis happened at least four time
tonight when they had not been touched and Thomas Bramall did
well to spot them because they are the best actors that I have
seen this season ----and that really is saying something.

Yes indeed, Reinildo flinging himself to the ground like he’d
been elbowed with force into his face was a particular
highlight.
Especially when the arm brushed him like a feather falling onto
the ground.

The only people who think it wasn't handball is team ref,
everton fans, Sunderland fans and neutrals all know he made his
body unnaturally bigger, that's given in 99/100 games. Another
case of why are English referees unable to enforce the rules
correctly, problems right at the top?

We have law of the game, not rules.
People lose credibility on this site if they cannot separate
their emotional feelings as a fan from a constructive summary of
a Referee's performance with examples of incidents.

Team ref’s opinion or a load of Sunderland fans opinion or a
load of neutrals opinion.
I know who’s opinion I’d rather trust and believe.

That is exactly why the game is going to the dogs since the
introduction of VAR. IFAB have changed so many Laws and their
interpretation that nobody is exactly sure of what is and isn't
handball, fouls, foul throws, etc., etc. I could go on, however,
the game is not anywhere near as enjoyable to watch,
particularly for those who actually attend. It is becoming a
circus and the more IFAB do to accommodate VAR the more of a
circus it becomes.
Great for the TV fan, however, absolute rubbish for those
actually attending and paying stupid money to do so, which is
why I now enjoy non-league much more.

I hardly watch live football match on tv, let alone the PL so I
haven't seen the incident nor would I be going to look for it.
Read my message again because it is nothing to do with closing
ranks. You were clearly upset about Mr Bramall, so the only
advice I would give to anyone upset about any match official's
performance for their team is to take time off when it's raw and
reassess the situation on following day.
You were absolutely entitled to your opinion on RTR, so all I'm
saying is that you were letting your emotional feeling on here
as an unhappy fan rather than seeing things from the referee's
point of view!

Ok, to be fair to mr Bramall he has been let down by others in
his team, his name is just the one that goes first

I haven't seen the incident but how bizarre given that a
Sunderland player did exactly the same thing at Old Trafford a
few weeks ago (albeit that was awarded incorrectly as a penalty
until rightly overturned after prompting by VAR). :-[
