       Jarred Gillett: Tottenham v Chelsea

Jarred has been superb in the 1st half, he's let bits and pieces
go which has given the game a great flow and has managed to stay
out of the limelight up until stoppage time.
The incident in stoppage time, excellently dealt with by Gillett
who done brilliantly to diffuse the situation which turned into
a very unnecessary set of handbags. Agree no SFP, on field
decision correct of YC and good to see another one given for
       dissent.
Only issue is missed YC for challenge on Neto on 51'.

Betancur came at speed, nowhere near the ball and the ankle
clearly buckled. Don’t see how it’s not a red card? The same
player was also thrusting his head towards players in the
       ensuing melee.

Far too low to be a red card, he caught him on the ankle.

Bentancur yellow correct. But he’s let way too much go for both
sides in that first half. Sarr and Simons clearly fouled but
nothing given, likewise fouls on Pedro and Garnacho bizarrely
       not given.
Sometimes you can let too much go, in my opinion.

       I think he's been consistent which is a necessity. I don't have
a problem with him letting things go, the only exception being
the one from Spence on Neto at the end of the 1st half.
What I will say though, letting things go is a dangerous
approach in this fixture, as shown with how Taylor and Oliver
both struggled in the last 2 editions. However id argue he's
managing to let things go at a reasonable level while staying
relatively under the radar, which is the ideal scenario for both
       entertainment and the referee.

I think that he isn't necessarily letting way to much go but
certainly has let a few too many go. I like the letting it go,
but it is risky and it bubbled over slightly with the Bentancur
       James challenge

I think he's got that one right too for no SFP and YC by Enzo
Fernandez. I think it's supportable due to there not being a
massive amount of force, however it is high, I think a bit of a
faster challenge and an OFR would've been called.
If RC was given on field though I think the on field call
       would've stuck, I will say.

Brilliant game from Jarred. I thought the Enzo challenge, a red
would have been clearly wrong but for Bentancur a red would have
       been supportable.

The Bergvall incident at the start of the game shows how
important it is that concussion substitutions come into the
game. Take him off, do an assessment, if he passes it then he
can come back on. Having permanent substitutions will make it
very tough to get players to go off, especially if it turns out
they’re just dazed and not concussed.

Agree 100% in principle, but I need to be shown how it can be
successfully deployed WITHOUT teams using it to their advantage.
For clarity, I mean faking a head injury to give a player a
break (or have an "impact" sub for 10 minutes) and then return
       him to the game.
