I'm really not seeing any controversy here. There's no doubt
the attacker was offside, and equally no doubt that he was
pushing the keeper, so very difficult to say he didn't affect
his ability to play the ball.

I would go along with disallowing the goal, but where I would
criticise in in regarding the collision in the Spurs penalty
area as a normal coming together. The Spurs player made no
attempt to play the ball but took the balance from a player in
mid air and caused a heavy and potentially serious fall. In my
opinion this was serious foul play and should have resulted in a
red card and a penalty.
As a minor aside I think I saw the visiting goalkeeper
deliberately drop the ball to his feet and then pick it up again
and be allowed to clear it…surely it is an indirect free kick ?

What incident are you referring to re taking the balance from a
player in mid air? Did I miss something?

The incident occurred towards the end of the match in the
Tottenham penalty area.
