       Learned Ladies & Gentlemen.
Should the Sunderland second goal have been ruled out for
       offside ?
Mr Hackett has been holding court and in his opinion the goal
       should not have stood.

I think he is the only person who thinks its offside, most
chelsea fans reacting to posts about ot say good goal.
Biggest talking point for me was how long a chelsea attack was
allowed to continue with one of their players down with a head
       injury in the box.

I think Mr Hackett has a point before we start slating him. The
attacker is standing in an offside position around the penalty
spot. He makes no play for the ball, the goalkeeper's view is
not obscured and I think the keeper simply couldn't get to the
ball. Maybe the keeper should have complained along the lines of
       he was distracting me?
I don't know what offside is nowadays but it appears that you
can be in an offside position in between the line of the posts
       which is subjective.
