I think Liverpool have a right to feel aggrieved there should
have had a penalty but end up 2-0 down.

Never a penalty, Gakpo goes down like a sack of spuds, good
onfield call from Hooper who I think has done well so far.
Did he play too long at the end of the half? I'd already left
the room out of frustration at how bad we've been.

No one should feel aggrieved.
It’s never a penalty, there’s hardly a touch.
I watched back the game from 45 minutes to see if the goal was
fair (in terms of timing)
There were exactly 2 minutes of stoppages from the end of the
45th minute to the end of the 48th, so the goal was more than
fair. Excellent time keeping from Hooper

fair enough. I’m too lazy to be going back to check exactly …
Hopefully injury not too bad for hooper

Firstly hopefully its just something minor for him and just
precautionary to not handle the 2nd half.
2nd as people are so sure that it was not a penalty have I
missed a rule change that now means tripping a player is not a
foul?
