       > It’s a complete lose-lose situation for Oliver. Firstly
there’s no way he can see if MacAllister is injured, as he’s
watching the play. And if Pawson gets in his ear and tells him
to stop it with United through on goal then we’d never hear the
end of it! I thought he had a decent game but missed a yellow
       for Cunha at the end

I thought he was fine also. Didn’t agree with amad yellow with
what looked like a perfectly good tackle, but he kept control
was firm with his decisions and contributed to a really decent
game unlike a few in the past

I felt the Amad YC was harsh at first but on rewatching,
although he got the ball, I think it was the way he dived in
with the follow through into his opponent that justified it as
reckless for a YC. He seemed to accept the decision.
Thank you TA_Ref for making points rather better than I had.
Reasoned discussion about decisions and incidents is to be
welcomed. After all, referees at the highest levels don't
always agree on decisions and sanctions.

I don't think he did accept the decision! It was interesting
that on the MOTD highlights in the Spurs v Villa game there was
a challenge in the penalty area where the defender, having
played the ball, followed through on to the attacker's foot but
no YC or penalty was awarded.
