Thoughts? That looks like a ridiculous DOGSO decision to me.

A second red card issued to a Gillingham player. 2 yellows.
Cannot comment as I have not seen them.

Initially thought there was going to be a "safe defensive
freekick", did not think DOGSO would be the outcome!

I think that's a bit unfair, especially if you are just going
off the name rather than having seen him officiate.
I saw Zac K-K twice last season and he was absolutely fine on
both occasions, and certainly not prone to the eccentricities
associated with his father. He's only young and has made a rapid
rise. Perhaps on Saturday, he just had one of those games where
his judgement wasn't as expected. He certainly doesn't receive
any negative press on here or in the wider sphere as much as his
       dad did.

I don’t think any other official can hope to match the complete
randomness and basket case decisions that Kettle senior offered
to the paying customers for many a year.
I agree, that Kettle jnr has made a solid start to his career,
and could surprise us all and head to the top.

I saw Mr Kennard-Kettle in the middle at a Tranmere game for the
first time, earlier this season v Notts County. In that game,
his foul detection felt very erratic. While it would be wrong to
form a judgement on just one match, it didn't come as a total
surprise that he managed to issue such a strange red card in
this game. Perhaps unusually, Rovers fans had a generally
favourable experience of Mr Kettle senior's handling of our
       games.

You are very lucky and I suspect in the minority. Many have seen
and witnessed first hand the destruction Kettle caused during
his many years in the middle.

My colleagues at Altrincham FC and myself have experienced Mr
Kennard-Kettle on a number of occasions.
These have seldom if ever been enjoyable with many bizarre
decisions, woeful game management and inexplicable
       communication.
"We" would not be heartbroken to not see him at the JDS again

I don't think it's fair to judge him for who is father is or
make comparisons that way. Judge him on his own merits and
whether his decisions are correct or not and no more. I hate it
when TV pundits do the same with players, Justin Kluivert as an
example, is Justin Kluivert no more no less and should not
always be referred to as Justin, son of Patrick Kluivert
followed by the comparison of achievements. Michael Salisbury
isn't constantly referred to as, son of Graham or compared to
him or have comments of "like father, like son" made over
decisions, and I don't think this young man should either. No
wonder the poor kid used just his mother's maiden name when
starting out. I have never seen him referee, I have no idea if
he's any good or not, those way above me in the food chain see
something in him though. If he deserves criticism for a decision
then criticise the decision without the "like father, like son"
       add on is my opinion.
