I agree, although I think he is Yorkshire based, so only a trip
over the Pennines.
Good to see Robinson back in the PL. Tierney back in the VAR hub
after a spell out on the grass.
Pawson did the same game last year, which I think he awarded 3
penalties, 2 being overturned.

No Brooks or Salisbury this week.
Still no Darren Bond either.

Is Sian Massey-Ellis now a permanent AVAR or is she injured and
still on the AR list?

> Does anyone know why Oliver’s second AR changes so frequently?
Is it his choice? He’s had Bennett, Cook and Mainwaring over the
last few years and now Tim Wood for this game. Whereas Taylor
99% of the time is in a team with Nunn and Beswick. Thanks!

Can Mainwaring do either Liverpool or Man United due to
supporting either team?
Mainwaring doesn't appear to be appointed to Manchester City or
United matches.
He's from bury so it's possible he supports one of those two
clubs, thereby precluding him from the other.

Feel like they could have put someone else at anfield other than
Oliver…
Not that I don’t think he should be on it as he’s had good start
to season but after last seasons Dalot situation, any slightly
controversial decision won’t go down well atall

Sian is ready to resume on the pitch, possibly next week she
will be back out.

Believe it or not but that Dalot double yellow card scenario was
actually 2 seasons ago.
Although after a bit of research, it baffles me as to how Oliver
has been appointed to this match for 3 seasons in a row. He’s a
great referee obviously but I think some matches, especially
ones between big names could be spread out a little bit more
rather than giving someone the same game 3 years running.
jesus time is flying..should prob have made sure before
I posted 🙈.
Point about being at anfield 3 seasons in a row is still poor
management imo
