Tom Bramall: Leeds v Spurs

Another example of dissent unpunished, Paulinha making gestures
at AR1 after being booked and shouting at Bramall. Farke also
should've been booked for "leaving his technical area to protest
a decision"!
Bramall has done well so far, he looks very calm and unphased by
the ferocious atmosphere. He's let a lot go and there's high
potential for this to get messy. He's facilitated a highly
entertaining first half and let's hope he remains consistent.

I watched the second half of this. Thought Bramall done well
also, nothing that was obviously wrong.
But once again, another problem for another referee is not
dealing with dissent. Romero should’ve received a second caution
when he made gestures and shouted towards Bramall after not
being awarded a free kick for a challenge on him.

An awful lot going on, tetchy game and he tried to let things
flow. Good authority overall.
But Paulinha did had every right to be frustrated, as I’m not
sure he touched his opponent, bonkers yellow card that was
clearly guessed and bought by Leeds.
And Bramall guessed at the end with a totally incorrect corner
award. A pet hate, if you are really unsure and both teams
appeal, you give the safe option of a goal kick. Imagine Leeds
equalise there, the fallout (not from Thomas Frank nicest guy in
football possibly, but Spurs players and supporters).
He then blew up despite only playing an extra 40 or so seconds
despite the VAR check taking well over a minute, an additional
sub being made by the away side, and Danso time wasting taking
an age over a throw-in in between. Poor time management to be
honest, hence the boos at the end. He did maybe think 6 minutes
was slightly too much to begin with perhaps, who knows.
