Video Assistant Referee: Christian Dingert
I watched this on TV last night just to see how poor Celtic are
this season and the answer is pretty poor.
However, the big talking point is the disallowed Celtic goal for
hand ball in the lead up to the goal. What VAR saw I do not know
and there are many others who cannot understand why. The ball
was surely touched by the Celtic player's head! Worth looking up
just to see how VAR is still not perhaps perfect.

I think this has been complicated by the fact that the on field
decision was handball, but no TV cameras appear to show this (as
far as I can see). So it looks like VAR has disallowed the goal,
when it perhaps was checking for evidence to allow the goal
instead.

On the evidence I’ve seen, this decision is so poor that my
first thought was whether there had been a breakdown in
communication between the referee and VAR; a mistake of the
nature of the Tottenham v Liverpool fiasco.

Widely reported in Scotland that referee didn't see the handball
but the AR and fourth official called it. Referee let it go, as
he should, then on field decision no goal. VAR couldn't prove
otherwise!!
