I think Hooper is in yellow tomorrow evening judging by the kits
announcement!
Well you and bmb must be pleased to be proved wrong and the
lovely colour of blue is being worn by Hooper instead.
The Fulham website had us in our home kit for tonight… I reckon
bmb has told Hooper he’s lost his parking space if he wore
yellow!

I am an admirer of Kitchen, his performance in the first game
this season looked rusty, but he is a fine prospect. I can
understand why Burnley may not appreciate this but if they are
referring to the Preston game last season, I thought he was very
good. Others clearly don't probably because Burnley didn't get
what they wanted.
However, it doesn't seem to be a sensible appointment imho
although referees should be able to go and referee any game
regardless of history. Couldn't another appointment be found?
I knew someone must be an admirer of Kitchen but the Burnley
fans are not pointing to the Preston game for the lack of
appreciation but a series of games when he has given shocking
performances. And, mark my words, he was not good at Preston. I
assume you were there to be able to make such an assumption. Six
times last season, twice now this season. It's getting
ridiculous.
I don't get the hype with this referee at all.

Just the one yellow for caution a rarity for him. Must have been
the weather

Jarred is a full time professional so really it's five days a
week working.. Isn't that the norm for a working person?

As mentioned great to see Brooks back, and Tierney close to
being back to where he should be.
Think Dallison made his debut towards end of last season.
Seems to be more games with two main VARs being on the same
game. I wonder if this will be a policy going forward, rather
than a VAR and an “assistant”.
They seem to be doing a lot of mis-matching this season with VAR
Teams. Some with 2 referees, some with 2 assistants, some with
the usual 1 referee 1 assistant. Maybe it’s because of the 2 SG1
ARs with Tim in the EFL, Robathan injured, etc etc. It confuses
me and makes it hard to do VAR PAR but I try my best!
I did see Kitchen and Barrott get a game or two on VAR in the
cup towards the end of last season, I wonder if we will see them
on VAR sometime soon.
Hooper & Bond used to get the odd VAR game too.
Years gone by, SG1 Referees were the main VAR but this has
changed since last season. Any official can be appointed to VAR
and AVAR duty on any given match.
Listening to Soccer Saturday, don’t think Mike Dean is a fan of
the 2 ARs on VAR for United vs Sunderland, which I can
understand.
I am quite confused as to why we had 2 Referees on VAR last
night but 2 ARs on VAR today for one game. That could just be my
view, but hey ho!
