No yellow for Saka probably correct, as it was an accidental leg
dangle which caught Gordon, who went down quite easily (what’s
new there…). Not sure you can argue with that one!

Jared took such an age to award the penalty kick do we know he
didn’t ask Darren England to check that pope had played the ball
?

According to the commentary he had to be talked into overturning
it

Really nasty and deliberate foul by Saliba. It was also
dangerous.
Those are the sort of things that refs need to clamp down on.

Joelinton should have seen a second yellow for sarcastically
clapping at Jarred when he was cautioned.

Joelinton undoubtedly shouldn't be on the pitch, kicking the
ball away for the 1st yellow and then tells Scott Ledger to
bleep off and shouts and applauds Gillett.

For me, has to be a penalty for Newcastle for Gabriel handball.
I don't care who's foot it comes off last his hand is waving in
the air and isn't in a natural position. Also I think the replay
clearly shows it comes off the Newcastle player last.
