Looked like an exceptional decision to me.
Sadly the commentators and pundits don't know the Laws

Absolutely outstanding from Tony.
This highlights how poor the punditry is in the UK. This was the
third act of 'simulation' in the first half from Forest. The ref
spotted the other two but dealt with them by signalling for them
to get up on the first two occassions.
I've not heard anyone give that additional context to the award
of the disputed free kick being described as a 'nonsense
decision' by Big Ange.
Even in isolation the fact Tony had his hand in the air for an
IDK should have given our esteemed media colleagues a clue, but
alas we get really poor analysis from commentators, summarisers,
hosts, pundits etc...contact this, soft free-kick, not sure it's
a foul, weird decision, blah blah blah.
Thought he had a great game, one of the best in SG1.

An absolutely exceptional decision, and clearly instinctive but
calmly dealt with too.
If officials get berated for decisions like that, it’s proof
that we will never win. Therefore we’ve just got to do our jobs
and suck it up. Well done Tony.

DG wasn't impressed that Harrington booked the player for
simulation. No need to get involved. Maybe but if a team is
repeatedly looking to dive, then something has to be done. Maybe
DG looked at the incident in isolation?
