Looking at the appointments from recent weeks, I’m not overly
sure who’s going to get the East Anglian derby next game week.
I thought Kitchen but he has us (Ipswich) this week.
Then I thought Webb but he had Norwich last week.
We’ve already had Bobby Madley and Donohue this season already.
Josh Smith had this fixture at Portman Road last season so don’t
think he’d get it again (Donohue had the other that season).
That doesn’t mean there are loads of options left. James Bell
maybe? Lewis Smith? Or are they planning for SG1? I’d love to
have either Tom Bramall or Tony Harrington.
       [/quote]
Was literally having the exact same thoughts. Although, as we
see with other derbies, the big hitters, Taylor and Oliver,
       usually do repeats some times.
I would love to have someone like Bramall or Harrington but if
they didn’t give SG1 for the derby earlier this season and they
stuck with SG2 for most of them last season, I can’t inagine
they will give us SG1. Although, those two seem to be the ones
getting the least action this season that are not injured.
I am praying for Josh Smith, he is someone I love watching and I
am a strong believer that he would be in the PL right now if it
       wasn’t for injuries.
I think the most likely to get it is Lewis Smith or Oliver
Langford IF they won’t repeat appointments from last time. If
they go for Tim Robinson, I don’t want to know how especially
our fans will react given our many games with him last season
that didn’t seem to go too well.
If they go for an ‘underdog’, I would say someone like Bell,
Ricardo, Kirk. Ricardo seems to be getting a lot of hype the
past few years, he seems to be flying up the leagues. Kirk
already has got some good appointments, 4O in Man Utd vs
Chelsea, a midlands derby. I think be will be getting a few PL
       games sometimes soon.

Farai Hallam could be another underdog for the East Anglian
       derby

Pleased to see Tom Kirk, getting some good appointments and has
been stated he is doing well, observed him when he was coming
through the the ranks in Cheshire, and looked if he had
potential to get to the standard he has achieved so far, lets
hope it continues, and he make the Premier League.

You don't think the fact he did Ipswich's last home game would
       rule him out ?

I commented last season that Tom Neild was nowhere near the
level required to officiate in the Championship and having seen
his outrageous decision not to send Obrian off for Wrexham
further enhances my opinion. The only thing I would add slightly
in his defence is what did his colleagues see/advise? A truly
       shocking challenge.
