My annual trip to watch Stanley at MK
Milton Keynes Dons FC (First Team) v Accrington Stanley FC
       (First Team)
       Football League 2
       Referee: Jackson, Scott
       Assistant Referee: Webb, Michael
       Assistant Referee: O'Shea, Declan
       Fourth Official: Smith, Rob
Not a difficult game to referee but I think Mr Jackson got all
the major decisions right. Two first half yellow cards for MK's
Kelly and Offord for SPA were nailed on as was one for Stanley's
Heath for kicking the ball away. (It was in frustration at
himself but he managed to hit the back wall of the top tier!).
MK Don's fans thought Conneely should have received more than
yellow for a late challenge. I was too far away to judge but it
was right under the nose of AR1 so happy to go with the call of
yellow. Stanley took the lead with a nice passing move that left
Sinclair one on one with the keeper and he finished well. MK's
equaliser in the 3rd minute of the second half had Stanley
protesting about a foul on goalkeeper Wright. Again, I couldn't
see clearly, but having seen the goal on brief highlights there
was no case to answer. He simply dropped the ball in a crowded
goalmouth. MK's Lemonheigh- Evans was yellow carded for a late
challenge. Stanley retook the lead and that was that until the
fifth minute of stoppage time when MK's Offord clearly allowed
frustration to get the better of him and kicked into the calf of
Stanley's Henderson whilst he was shielding the ball near the
corner flag, receiving a second yellow and subsequent red for
his actions. MK's Gilbey was also shown yellow, presumably for
       something said.
If I'm looking for criticism, I thought Mr Jackson was very
lenient on holding and pulling by both teams but overall a good
       performance.
