Play offs - predictions

As we approach the crucial end to yet another season, I was
wondering who people think have performed well enough to be
rewarded with this season’s play off matches. Here are my
predictions, would be interesting to see what others think!
Championship:
Semi finals - Chris Kavanagh, David Coote, Mike Dean, Paul
Tierney
Final - Martin Atkinson
(Dean and Atkinson to swap should Leeds qualify)
League 1:
Semi finals - Robert Jones, Tim Robinson, Darren England, Peter
Bankes
Final - Andy Madley
League 2:
Semi finals - Ross Joyce, Ben Toner, Kevin Johnson, Darren
Drysdale
Final - Dean Whitestone

I think that Chris Kavanagh or Paul Tierney have a good chance
of the Championship play-off final. I would have said Craig
Pawson or Michael Oliver but there seems a reasonable chance
Sheffield United will be involved and Oliver will be away at the
U20 World Cup.
I think it's difficult to predict the semi-finals as they
overlap with the fianl weekend of the PL season so it depends
what officials are required there. It seems over the past few
years the 'top' names don't seem to have been used so much for
the semi-finals (I can remember the likes of East and Attwell
doing games in recent years. ) I remember the season Dowd,
Wiley, Clattenburg and Webb did them!
As for League 1, I would guess that Robinson, Jones, Madley and
Bankes will all get a game. I'm not sure on the other name -
perhaps one of Bond, Linington or England? It's hard to say who
will get the final. I think that Jones is the best referee on
the list so I would hope for him but obviously he did do it last
year (I can remember others doing the L1 playoff final in
successive years though.)
I'm not really sure about League 2 but I would be very happy to
see Dean Whitestone involved. He should be on SG2!

I agree with most of the suggestions above. I think David Webb
will feature somewhere as will Michael Salisbury but without
consulting the tea leaves I know not where.

Whitestone is unlikely to get a Final (after his Checkatrade
Final!) but I expect he will get a Semi. England or Madley
definitely bets for the League 1 Final.
Championship:

Huxtable & Swabey? Huxtable is incredibly inconsistent, Swabey a
little more consistent. I think Busby will possibly get a League
2 Semi.

Tongue in cheek? I would be happy to see Probert and Whitestone
with the Championship and L2 finals but I think the L1 final
will go to a SG2, possibly Darren England. Of those mentioned, I
certainly think Breakspear, Johnson, Joyce and Toner should
feature in the semis. Dean and Atko have already refereed one or
more Championship Finals but this should not preclude them being
considered again. Or how about Kevin Friend if he doesn't get
the FA Cup Final?

Good point about Roger East. He has taken charge of a
Championship play off semi final in four out of the last five
seasons. I don't see any reason to go beyond the usual EFL
candidates East, Mason, Hooper etc on the final weekend of the
Premier League season.

Will depend on how many games in the PL have anything other than
place setting on them.
It would be nice to think that the top 5 PL referees did the
Championship Play Offs, the top 5 SG2 do League one and top 5
Football league refs do League Two, fanciful dream I know

Given the season he has had, and some of the appointments of
late, I'd be confident Chris Kavanagh is in with a very good
shout of the Championship Playoff Final.
