"injuries"

So that's the second game in a row, when a ref has stopped a
game for a leg injury. When are they going to do what they
should be doing and let play continue until there is a actual
stop in play. This is just encouraging players to feign injury.

Watching the game in West London tonight.
Palmer sits on the floor. Stuart Attwell calls on the physio.
Palmer gets up with no treatment. 1 minute (at least) wasted.
Palmer starts running around.
Sanchez catches the ball, runs to the edge of the box. Goes
down. Attwell calls the physio. Sanchez gets up. Another minute
wasted.
I wish referees had the power to caution players for feigning
injury (delaying the restart?) because it’s getting ridiculous.

I think it's about time that players who stay down and delay the
restart of play should have to go off for the mandatory 30
seconds as if the physio had been called on.
Might curb some of the brick-outhousery we see especially
towards the end of games.

Is it not better for the ref to call the physio on quickly, then
the player would have to go off for a mandatory period and his
side would be down to 10 players which could be crucial? That
way, players and managment would quickly learn that feigning leg
injuries is not a good idea.
