Possibly, but Roger East has already officiated as an AR in the
FACF (or was it still called linesman) in 2004 when Jeff Winter
       refereed the Final.
To the best of my knowledge, in recent times, an FACF AR
(linesman) has never gone on to be a 4thO in an FACF; however,
John Brooks or even Darren England (unlikely) could disprove the
statistic !. Happy to be proved wrong [emoji14]

Out of interest, why do you suggest it is unlikely for Darren
England? He seems highly thought of and is only 33 (?) so I'd
certainly expect him to progress to the Premier League over the
next few years - whether he gets to the FA Cup final is another
matter of course but I'd say he's got a fighting chance.

ARSENAL = MOSS - well, we haven't had him for about a fortnight.
Why can't we occasionally have a referee who we hardly ever get
instead of just rotating the same few who we get 6+ times a
       season?
PGMOL really does need a re-structure.
