Michael Salisbury: Burnley vs Sunderland

Thought I'd add that Salisbury was excellent in what was in fact
quite a challenging game. He let the game go throughout but was
able to stamp his authority in places where things got a little
feisty (especially towards end of 1st half). The match
co-commentator was even singing his praises throughout.
Also a flickering floodlight threw another unexpected problem
his way too!
I'd like to see this referee with a higher profile assignment as
today suggested he'd be well up for the task.

I’ve always thought that Michael Salisbury is a good referee but
never really got his chance. That’s without watching his game
today.

In a completely unbiased way terrible, he should have abandoned
the match, made it so burnley forfeit and sunderland pick up the
points, I was very disappointed he didnt do that 😀
In all seriousness he had a good game

Does anyone know if the disallowed goal came after an OFR? MotD
commentary was a bit unclear and seemed to suggest John Brooks
gave a factual overturn, but it looked a subjective decision to
me.
