Impeccable thus far, and really hasn’t had a lot to do to be
honest. Both teams getting on with it and it’s been
entertaining.
Iroegbunam deserved his card.

The commentators spent 5 min+ saying what a great game he’s
having, praising an advantage and for giving a YC to the player
waving an imaginary card his way! Not sure what’s going on but
it’s not the usual gibberish. More commentary like this please
and thank you.

Not too sure what the defender is supposed to do with their arms
in that situation.
Don't blame the ref for giving it on first viewing but he's
moving to block the shot arm can't be any where else

A bit of an ‘umpires call’ that. You cant overturn it once it’s
given but there’s absolutely zero chance the VAR intervenes if
it’s not given. For what it’s worth I wonder what else Tarkowski
could’ve done in the circumstances? I think it’s a very harsh
penalty.

Lee Betts has had a poor evening. He got two easy decisions in
the first half wrong and I’m really not convinced that penalty
was correct. Kav couldn’t see it so gave it on his advice

I personally think that’s an absurd decision to give a handball
penalty there, unless we’re now going down the ultra strict UEFA
interpretation of handball. Expect Everton will be fuming.

Beg to differ. Think he has been very slacking penalising
pushing, holding and pulling. If I want to watch all of these
there is Rugby available.
Poorly let down by AR for what should have been annEverton
corner and like most on this site I have no idea what
constitutes hand ball.
My fourth game to watch this season and so far the match
officials have been poor, or maybe my expectations are too high

He didn’t. AR did. VAR should have sent him to the screen imo

As mentioned above, Lee Betts has had a stinker this evening. An
experienced FIFA assistant shouldn’t be making errors like that.
The missed corner was inexcusable, and I really don’t like the
penalty decision one bit.
The umpires call verdict seems to be a perfect way to describe
the scenario. I still think Brooks should have sent Kavanagh to
the screen.
Howard Webb will be busy with his first programme whenever
that’s broadcast!
David Moyes mentioned in the pre match interview he was
questioning the officials in the previous matches this weekend
.. he will be seething now.
