       A KITCHEN - Birmingham v Ipswich

Terrible start from Kitchen. How on earth has Kitchen deemed a
foul by Kyogo on Greaves when he then slotted the ball home.
Some really strange decisions, including the Jack Clarke “foul”
already and we are only ten minutes in.

I thought it was a foul, bit soft maybe but Kyogo jumped into
him with no eyes for the ball. Don Goodman saying he needs to
“get a grip” after 8 minutes is ridiculously over the top

Kitchen hasn’t had the best start, but my god, don goodman is
       unbearable

Defender was pushed in the back. Subtle and the Premiership has
distorted what is or isn't a foul but when you are under the
ball, unable to brace yourself and someone pushes you off, imho
       it is a foul.
There was an earlier foul which did confuse me and which I felt
       was wrong.
Now we are getting players falling over on the merest touch.
This is going to be difficult.

Agreed - it seems Kitchen has a habit of disallowing goals for
very soft and often dubious fouls.

no - its difficult because he’s made it difficult - random free
kicks for nothing then more obvious fouls missed - no
consistency whatsoever - disallowed goal is wrong, simple as
that - not a foul, normal contact - very poor - if this is the
best SG2 can come up with then we have problems

Don Goodman is simply awful. I don’t know what sort of agenda he
has against Kitchen - yes, he might’ve not had the best game so
far, but Don simply finds every way to hate against him. It’s
       unacceptable.

He’s usually pretty accurate and thoughtful in his comments, but
I think tonight he sounds like he’s been on a liquid dinner of
       the strong variety..

The first 20/25 minutes was not a refereeing performance I’d
associate with Mr Kitchen. It was very inconsistent to say the
least. Some small nudges being given and then not given. Then
what looked 50/50s were given as fouls. Probably the one
positive I’d take away from that half was he used advantages
       very well.
The disallowed Birmingham goal - it may look very soft on a
replay but I’d agree the defender was settled under the ball
looking to head away before an arm in the neck from Kyogo. As
already said, subtle but probably a foul, just.

He's given a lot of soft fouls, but the one for the disallowed
goal wasn't soft, the attacker just jumped into the defender and
       that was a clear foul.
