So World Rugby appoints 3 of the 4 Englishmen to these matches
whilst once again overlooking the excellent Luke Pearce. I’ve
said it before and I will say it again, I remain totally
gobsmacked as to how they deem Dickson especially to be superior
to Pearce. His random decision making is legendary! Carley’s
stylr irritates me but I have to say Ridley has the potential to
be a very fine referee indeed.
Suggestions of some form of conspiracy theory or simply a case
of Pearce’s face not fitting for some inexplicable reason
remain. If I was Luke I would be telling them to stuff it

I said exactly this on another thread - shocking that Luke
continually gets overlooked for what most seasoned viewers see
as far lesser referees - something definitely untoward
I would echo your sentiments re Carley, lacks empathy and
man-management for me. Ridley when he first shot to prominence
was something of a car crash in the premiership - upsetting all
and sundry - however i thought last season whenever I watched
him he was excellent - won’t be long before he’s No 1 in Europe
