I think Welch would have been hung, drawn and quartered if she
had given a yellow in a competitive match for that DOGSO
handball!
For such a charity match… her only option was yellow.

Soccer Aid for UNICEF has been a brilliant event over the years,
raising money for charity and giving us some unforgettable
moments.
However, I have to say I thought that the game was pretty poor
this year when you consider that 8 of 9 goals were scored by
ex-pros (4 of them by Tevez) and its disappointing to see when
the ex-pros decide to mainly play among themselves. It’s a
charity event where the celebrities should have their chances.
It really annoyed me when Tevez made a clear cynical foul in the
dying embers. Let the game go, it’s for charity. At least he got
a deserved yellow for it.

Kids blowing horns, women screaming, it's like hell on earth.
Its like a who's who of Cretins.
Charging folk £50 to watch John Bishop and Jack Whitehall run
around like a couple of gimps on acid.
It's immoral, and don't get me started on Jonathan Wilkes.
Famous? For What, wiping Robbie Williams arse !!
I'm amazed that fat James Corden wasn't involved. I don't care
if it's for charity. They should be grateful they can't get TV
in Uganda.

On the plus side, these "cretins" didn't try to break anyone's
leg, didn't spend much of their careers abusing referees and
certainly didn't turn an Ipswich team from potential playoff
hopefuls to a few places from relegation wasting millions whilst
doing so and alienating players and supporters alike. He is a
deeply unattractive personality, in my opinion.

Off topic I know, but one of the greatest midfielders of the
modern era - he certainly had an edge, and on occasions went
over the top and certainly crossed a line, but he’s not alone in
that respect - made every team he played for much, much better -
on some of the podcasts i have watched and listened to he comes
across as engaging and doesn’t suffer fools gladly - for me
certainly not click bait and definitely nothing like Hackett
All about opinions I guess

Agree, I really like him as a pundit as he says what he thinks.
Controversial sometimes yes, but there haven't been many better
central midfielders in the Premier League era and I think his
opinion counts for a lot.
Comparing him to Hackett is about as harsh as it comes 🤣
