It was a great tackle by Hume and one of the moments of the
match. When Chris Wilder doesn't complain then you know the
referee has got it spot on.

As Michael Oliver is of a black and white persuasion then that
won't happen.
I am finding Hackett's comments a little tiresome now.
A few weeks ago SAFC were late out for the second half however
there was good reason and the referee on the day was informed
accordingly and gave permission........Hackett said we should be
fined...........never happened.
At Coventry in mid March there was a confrontation between both
sets of players which was dealt with properly by referee that
day Dean Whitestone.....Hackett said Sunderland should be fined
for not controlling their players..........never happened.
The old boy always has the last word..........yet whatever
incident occured never receives any further punishment

Hackett's job is to sell papers or whatever media field he is
engaged in. Therefore he has to be controversial and extreme in
his views. It's what his employers will expect. I take not a
blind bit of notice of anything he says. A vastly over-rated
referee, a very mediocre Administrator and a run of the mill
journalist. Good luck to him in earning his denarius but no-one
is obliged to take what he says too seriously.

For the majority of the time I wouldn't know what Mr Hackett
thinks if it wasn't posted on here.
