Before I make any judgement, can someone clear up the law about
a goalkeeper handling outside the box because I don’t really
know what the appropriate sanction would be

Very clear error by Gillett and Salisbury on VAR to not
recommend on OFR for penalty, one angle shows Mitchell wins the
ball!!!!!

It'll all get forgotten about with the save but it's a dreadful
decision by the 3 of them in VAR, I don't blame Attwell as I
also thought penalty at 1st.

An absolutely terrible penalty decision, especially by those on
VAR. It took me two times to watch it and it was so so obvious
that Bernardo Silva was falling before the contact. When
Mitchell finally makes contact with him, Silva is literally on
his knees. Very very poor for me. Don’t blame Attwell for that
but he must have had some input from AR1 because he looked like
his view was partially blocked

Zero excuse for that penalty to be given. The VAR cannot state
that the ball was not played when there is clear evidence of the
defender getting a touch on the ball.
It is inexcusable.
Add to that Silva was already on his way down and that makes it
even worse.

Think Henderson should have been sent off for DOGSO. If he
doesn't handle that then Haaland's rolling it into an empty net
from barely any angle. The direction of play was only away from
goal because Henderson slapped the ball in that direction. The
covering defenders are at best level with the incident and would
be unable to use their hands like a keeper so would have had
negligible involvement.

Surprised by the comments here. I think it’s a penalty. The
slight touch on the ball doesn’t negate the carelessness of the
tackle, it’s not clean and certainly not a clear error from
Attwell and team.
Henderson handball is a yellow card for SPA imo, but quite close
to red

Think the penalty is a classic case of a penalty that VAR will
stick with the on-field decision no matter what is given.
Mitchells reaction also wasn't of someone who thought it was bad
decision.

think stuart has done ok first half, but VAR have let him down
twice already (henderson handball + silva penalty)
