Excellent apart from an error on a game changing key match
decision ? Referees are judged on big decisions, not the easy
run of the mill ones - can’t be excellent if an error you have
made has effected the outcome of a game

Another game, another major error by Holly - decision to send
off Cameron Woki in the England - France game last Saturday has
been ruled incorrect and over-turned - second major game in a
row where she has made a major, game changing error which has
been over-turned by the authorities
Do we think this experiment has now run its course, and can we
go back to appointing the best performing officials to the most
important games ?

I'm not sure that an uncapped Eng XV v Fra XV necessarily comes
under the "most important games" and is probably the ideal place
to test out an official.
If, as you say, the feeling is that her big decision making is
not good enough then she may not be included in 6N
However, she does have a summer international in SA and then
will be part of the WWC.

Given she has already been appointed to a European Final, not
sure she was given the game to “test her out” ? It’s not my
feeling that her big decision making is not good enough, its the
fact the in her last two games of note ( better ?) she has made
an error, which has been overturned by the authorities -
certainly in the European final you can strongly argue her
decision affected the result
I think she is a competent referee, but certainly no where near
international standard, she is being pushed / promoted in my
opinion for none ability reasons

Perhaps stirring a hornets nest here but I have more faith in
her than the random decision making of Karl Dickson as evidenced
by the recent play off final.

Surely the problem lies with the person in the bunker as both
red cards were given as yellows and then upgraded on bunker
review.

No, both were on-field decisions - on the missed Sam red card
she viewed the footage and still came out with a yellow card -
probably the clearest Red off the season - even the Bath fans I
watched the game with were amazed
