Thank god normal service is resumed tomorrow with experienced 43
year old Hall of Fame referee:
Alejandro José Hernández Hernández
Appointed to take charge on Sunday, a referee who referees only
to the laws with no discretion,
This is Hernandez 5th El Classico, but his first since 2019.
This is imo the best option available to the Spanish Federation.

That 1st line isn't fair at all. The other referee in the game
before earned that appointment, normal service has been in
operation all along. You're damned if you do damned if you don't
with this fixture.

I don’t know enough about Spanish officials to know who are the
most experienced and who are the best but I’m sure all the
appointments are made on merit.
I already noticed that Real Madrid TV have given their totally
unbiased opinion on the referee. Accusing him of being a Barca
supporter and bringing out supposed ‘mistakes’ from over 10
years ago.

Great decision to stay with his on field call of no handball
when barcelona wanted a penalty, he gestured he had seen it hit
the arm by the players side and that's exactly what var showed
him.
If real equalise that decision will get unjustified scrutiny
