Red card correct decision. You can’t genuinely attempt to play
the ball with your hands and that’s how the foul occurs.
Surprised it hasn’t been mentioned but whether or not you agree
with the decision - Langford is miles away from a potential
DOGSO in a playoff semi final. Positioning for me was not up to
       scratch at all.

I noticed that. Think he was expecting Dickie who had a clear
head start to deal with it or head back to the keeper. He got it
right but seemed to catch him by surprise a bit

Watch it back and you will see that he was in an excellent
position to see exactly what happened and made his decision
       accordingly.

I've watched it back. He's still miles away.

He was never going to get close the way the ball broke. He was
close enough, saw it clearly, had a good angle and got the
decision right. I have seen Michael Oliver get close in and get
it totally wrong, e.g. Wolves v Arsenal.
For the record, I agree that Don Goodman is very fair towards
referees and a lovely guy. My son met him on holiday in Spain
and can testify to that. He was wrong this time in the heat of
commentary and I'm sure he will agree that the referee got it
right. He was probably disappointed that the game would lose
something in terms of excitement. I did not see the half time
pundits giving their views. Credit to them. Furthermore, at full
time they expressed disappointment with the City managers
comments wondering what previous matches Langford refereed had
to do with this game! Adamant they were that the red card was
       correct.
Biggest game for City in years and one player gets it wrong.

I think I’ve set the record for the most “disagreed” reactions
to any of my posts 😂😂😂😂.

I agree with your comments about Don Goodman, i met him and his
dear lady queueing up at Wembley waiting to get in at the
championship play off final in 2018, both lovely people. Such a
shame he lost his gf in bradford fire, a game in which he
       played.
