That is a terrible decision by Langford to send off Dickie for
DOGSO.
Clearly won the ball and even if he didn’t, it was a clear
attempt to play the ball and at worst a yellow.

I cannot believe that he doesn’t see Dickie try and attempt to
play the ball. It’s baffling and it’s in one of the biggest
games of the season. A real shocker. The award of a penalty is
wrong anyway but the red card is painful for Bristol City.

Shocking decision, ball is clearly played so at worst how is it
not a genuine attempt to play the ball

He drags Moore down (with no intention to win the ball) first,
then after that tries to win the ball. Red card correct in my
opinion.

Surprised Langford got handed a game of this magnitude to start
with, think he’s had a poor season by his usual standards.
But poor red card decision

There's no doubt he manhandled the forward before getting a
touch on the ball. If that is what the referee penalised then
by the letter of the law it is a red card for DOGSO, the issue
is we have seen lots of cases of penalties given for upper body
contact and the outcome is almost always a caution.

I normally agree with all of your posts so feel a little sad
disagreeing with this one , because unless my eyes deceive me
the attempt to play the ball was after already fouling the Sufc
player, I as you know have no affinity to either club.
