Unless he has already had it I would say Nyberg might get the
ECL final but I agree with the rest

Excellent performance from Mr Zwayer and team incl var tonight.
I think Mr Taylor and his team along with Mr Oliver and his team
will have a bigger smile on their faces this evening probably
       more so the former.
Think there is a fair possibility for a German to get the final,
Mr Siebert who had a good last 16 outing at Villa Park v Club
       Brugge.
Nyberg is a good outside bet along with Eskas, Kruzliak and
       Scharer.
Think Kovacs will be in line for next seasons final.

I wouldn’t have thought eskas he isn’t even elite is he?
Kovacks is favourite but I would love to see Taylor before he
comes off the list. Nyberg or scharer could get
       Europa/conference or maybe Siebert.

No doubt it can be justified, but in my eyes it shows up IFAB
and the referees that make decisions like this as failing to
interpret the purpose of the law. It is to prevent teams from
gaining an advantage from hand / ball contact and that should be
the primary consideration. In this case the touch was so light
as no have a negligible influence and since it wasn't
intentional and gave no advantage to the defending side should
       not have been penalised.
It is in my eyes a general failing of the way the laws are
written that the purpose of the law is not the first
consideration and then the detail follows to help interpret how
       that purpose can be achieved,

UEFA may take advantage of no English team being in the final
this year. Kovacs can really do it any year realistically.

Understandable arsenal fans were frustrated as it would never be
       given in England.

They do get given in England.
Ask Tyler Adams. (AFCB v West Ham last December) He was jumping
as a ball was crossed and got a barely discernable nick with
didnt affect the flight of the ball into the area. Certainl;y
wasn't a consequential deflection.. No-one appealed yet VAR
stuck their oar in and a penalty was awarded.

To me, Myles Lewis-Skelly seems to get on the wrong side of
referees more than some. Almost a liability but I fully accept
that at 18 he will be little over enthusiastic and lacks the
experience necessary to play in Europe. That isn't to say he
shouldn't, on the contrary he needs to. That raised arm was
always going to be a potential problem. Whether you agree with
the penalty decision or not, it was a fair call by the
officials, but Lewis Skelly cannot really be blamed.
       Zwayer had a fine game.

Felix Zwayer is one of the very few non English UEFA referees
whom I have watched at a live match. He was cool, calm and
collected; not unlike last night's performance.

This is entirely on IFAB, and nothing to do with referees.
Referees implement the Laws that IFAB give us.
Otherwise, I agree with the overall sentiment. I have little
issue with this particular handball, but I would like to see
greater consideration given to consequence or advantage.
Handball has become too much of a 'gotcha', and penalising
moments that the game doesn't really want.
But even the most conservative applications of handball in many
a year would have still awarded a penalty for that last night.
I'd suggest that if it was against PSG, the commentary team
would not have reacted the way they did.
