Very happy for David Webb who gets a well deserved PL game.
Lewis Smith with the penultimate game at Goodison Park.
Hooper to oversee the champions in a big game for Chelsea and
       their quest for top 5

I spot another future VAR addition, Peter Wright as AVAR at West
Ham. First appointment at Stockley Park I think?

Good spot, he’s been injured for the majority of the season and
has only come back for 3 games at the end. Perhaps a future role
should he not be able to referee regularly.

I can see Ruebyn Ricardo getting a PL middle before the season
is up, that’s a great appointment as 4th with Oliver’s usual
       team

Are we perhaps to read that David Webb and Lewis Smith are prime
contenders for any vacant SG1 berth. Josh Smith is a fine
referee but he does seem terribly injury prone and that may be a
factor in determining a possible promotion. My view is that Sam
Allison is way, way off SG1 standard at the moment. Sunny Singh
Gill's star seems to have faded quite noticeably; has he had
       injury issues too ?
Ruebyn Ricardo is certainly being given a taste of the big time.
As yet he has proved nothing but the potential is huge and if
next season he maintains his progress he will soon be knocking
       on the SG1 door.

Let's just praise his achievement without tagging him with
       someone else.
The whole SG1 and SG2 will come to an end at some point. PGMOL
want Officials that could officiate from Premier League down to
National League, rather than current structure.

Worrying to see Brooks out for yet another weekend with U-21
Euro coming up for him in the summer. However his two ARs for
the tournament, Bennett and Robathan, still sticking together
though, for the third week in a row, which might be a sign that
he could hopefully be fine by then…

Not if the powers that be saw him referee Peterborough v Bolton
on Saturday. Two shocking penalty decisions plus nine yellow
cards in a game with one bad tackle in it.

I wasn't at the match and have not seen any extended highlights
and so cannot comment on the performance of Mr Ricardo. However,
as a general point, it is perfectly possible to issue nine
completely correct cautions without there being a bad tackle in
the match. Persistent minor fouling, dissent, breaking up a
promising attack, failing to retreat the proper distance at a
free kick, handball, time wasting, entering the field of play
without permission. It's relatively easy to tot up the yellow
cards without a bad tackle being made.
