Red card for Dasilva after 12 mins. Not sure if Langford’s got
that right - looks like Millenic Ali’s tripped himself!😳

It's becoming a habit. He had to give it after the Trai Hume
decision on Good Friday.

I am not convinced that the Luton push is violent conduct and
while I understand that it’s subjective, I hope the earlier
Coventry red card wasn’t influencing the decision.

Wasn't Luton 2nd YC? Commentator said he'd only just been booked

Dasilva has unintentionally stood on the back of his foot, but
intent is not the issue. The outcome is a foul challenge
denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity. Good decision from
a referee having to trust the judgement that got him to SG2
(with no VAR safety net).

He produced a straight red card though, very confusing.

This was an important match at both ends of the table. For me
with almost everything sorted in the Prem before this weekend,
SG1 officials should’ve taken this game. I thought some of
Langford’s decisions were a little baffling.
-Not sure why Latubiediere (sp?) wasn’t booked at all. He
must’ve made at least 4-5 fouls.
-How Luis Binks stayed on the pitch, I’ve no idea.
-It’s not a red on Walsh. His third of the season and now on a
5-game ban if not rescinded. Luton have confirmed that they will
appeal. I don’t think many people would’ve battered an eye lid
for a second yellow, because it was stupid to get involved.
Binks’ play acting was a bit ridiculous though.
-With VAR, Izzy Jones could’ve been sent off for violent
conduct.

“I thought some of Langford decisions were a little baffling”
My very thoughts for a number of years now!

Not sure from his position on the pitch that Mr Langford could
be even 90% certain that a foul had occurred. Assume he was
helped by AR or guessed, would be interested to know which.

With Walsh’s red card being overturned leaving him free to play
the next match Luton have come out of it well. Had Langford
correctly shown a yellow card Walsh would have course have had
to serve a ban.
