What a lenient ban. If they classified it as they did “mild
violence” I think that’s pretty high up the scale for “mild’
launching something a referee. I’d be interested what mild
violence that warrants 12 games looks like.
I also don’t know why Bellingham’s red card was rescinded
(another player with a terrible attitude towards referees). The
article quotes he was reported as having "approached our
position in an aggressive attitude, having to be restrained by
his team-mates" I don’t know what video evidence Real Madrid
produced to contradict this, as the video I have seen fits this
description perfectly. Ok, he doesn’t get within 10 yards of the
referee - but why would that justify aggressive behaviour?
To be honest, considering the attitude of the players, coaching
staff and owners, Real Madrid are fortunate not to be facing
large points reductions in the league in my view, if not removal
from the competition. What an embarrassment they are to the
beautiful city of Madrid, and their doubtless many decent fans
who are appalled at their actions.

If a supporter had done what Rudiger has then a stadium ban
would be expected so 6 games is a cop out.
