A real sad state of affairs in Spain right now from a refereeing
perspective from the above article.
I won’t go into too much detail about the article but I will
give my thoughts on the whole situation.
This all boils down to the simple fact that referees are just
human beings like the rest of us on the planet and Real Madrid’s
actions are completely unacceptable. I can’t image win % being
down to the referees performance - maybe they should play better
in the games he referees. It goes to show the entitlement of
‘the biggest club in the world’ and how apathetic they are to
the job that referees do. Every team has good and bad decisions
against them but the arrogance to complain about the bad ones in
the over excessive manner that they have done through Real
Madrid TV is simply ridiculous.
The whole situation just makes me give greater empathy towards
the referee especially when you hear that his son has been
bullied and attacked at school. Once again, no one should have
to suffer abuse because they are a relative of the referee. But
unfortunately some fans think it’s ok to do this as we’ve seen
before Michael Oliver’s wife and close family has been
threatened.
We are human, not robots. We get things right and wrong. We have
lives outside of officiating. Respect

Real Madrid are a tin pot club in my opinion, and if I were in
the RFEF grouping, I’d be advocating not officiating any Real
Madrid matches.
No official- no game.

Real Madrid have taken part in 0 media activities for the final
now.
And Madrid have said they will go home unless justice is
administered on De Burgos and Fuentes.
What makes me be in disbelief is that They made a video against
De Burgos but he is one of spains most softest referees…… and if
they replace him naturally the replacement is going to have this
right in his mind about the damage Madrid have caused his
colleagues.

As much as Real Madrid are wrong for challenging the neutrality
of de Burgos.
I don’t believe it’s the right decision for the ref to be doing
a press conference the day before a final with all press being
able to ask any questions.
(I know it’s been done previous years but it’s not mandatory)

Let them go home. Fine them for failing to fulfil a fixture,
force them to refund the ticket and travel costs of every fan
attending, and record a 3-0 for the opposition team.

When you consider the almost impossible circumstances, I think
Ricardo de Burgos can be very proud off his performance.
From before the match and all the way to the very end, Real
Madrid have utterly disgraced themselves. I hope at some stage
some of the people involved will look back and feel ashamed.

Time someone with guts takes action against this nasty team.
Behaviour was totally disgraceful. Rudiger should face a very
hefty ban and, as I’ve said on here before, when things are not
going his way Bellingham is a spoilt obnoxious brat. The
moderators may censor this post, fair enough, but that’s how
strongly I feel.

Not long enough, should have been at least the 12 games based on
how they've classed it.
