       Jeff Evans RIP

       Sad to hear about the passing of former cricket umpire Jeff
       Evans at the age of 70.
       A well respected man on the circuit, i had the pleasure of
       chatting to him on many occasions, a lovely man.
       Remember seeing him watching and umpiring at Scarborough towards
       the end of his career, finally getting a game there where he
       lived for a time with a lady he met from the resort.
       For years we joked about him not getting a game close to home.
