       C KAVANAGH - Ipswich v Arsenal

Terrible challenge by Davis which is definitely a red.
However, Merino was very lucky to avoid sanction for a pull back
in centre field stopping a promising attack.

Fully agree. A shocking challenge which deserved the highest
       sanction.

Quite an obvious red card. Ipswich player absolutely knew what
he was doing there, pretty disgusting really. Outclassed all
game and had to resort to doing that.
Looked like good teamwork, as you clearly saw Kavanagh asking
for help from the assistant too.

Caught him on the back of the ankle but lacked force or
       intensity for me.
A hard yellow definetly but if thats a red the games gone.

I personally think it's more of an orange card so whatever
decision he had given var would have supported

The issue with this is the consistency of SFP. I have no problem
with the award of a red card but how many challenges have we
seen in recent months which have been similar to this or in some
cases worse than this but only YC’s have been awarded and VAR
       intervene.
That challenge was so poor and for me does meet SFP guidelines
so well done to team ref for that decision.

Definite RC. Absolutely endangered the safety of Saka and could
have caused a serious injury given it was from behind with studs
fully into the achilles. Looked like a lot of the information
must have came from Richard West given the delay in the red card
       being shown.
No explanation for why Merino wasn't booked earlier on though.

Good teamwork from team ref, correct decision to award red card
to Davis fir his nasty challenge on Saka.
Another good solid performance from Kavanagh.

You could see him pointing at where Enciso was running, he'd
taken a heavy touch and there were several Arsenal players, so
he deemed it didn't stop a promising attack as he wouldn't have
kept the ball even without the pull.
