Believe that’s a debut for William Davis at Swindon.
Will Finnie, Martin Coy, Alan Young, Richard Eley and Adam
Herczeg with some of the standout games. Peter Wright gets his
first middle of the season after injury at Fylde.
Scott Oldham and the aforementioned Alan Young for us. Must win
for Ryan and Acme’s Crewe you think on Friday. Need Alan to
avoid one of his sometimes too often poor days on Monday please!

I like Alan Young but when he has a bad day it’s really bad.
Usually a safe pair of hands though

Alan Young has certainly had a number of really bad days in his
time. My opinion of him will be forever clouded by, amongst
other things, his truly appalling performance at Portman Road in
2019. Haven't quite forgiven Aaron Farmer for his part in the
debacle either.

I won’t be travelling down for Friday’s game. It’s just not
worth it. However, I will be able to see the Card shark on
Easter Monday.

Scott Tallis for the home game against promotion chasing Donny.
Very harsh straight red in our game at Rotherham the last time
he was in charge of a Rovers game. Hasn't convinced the times
I've seen him in action. Then Thomas Kirk who I've not seen in
action since his first season on the FL, but seems to be getting
some of the bigger fixtures at this level now.

I was hoping for the visit of Mr Kirk when we play you a week on
Saturday… maybe not!

I'm relieved that the selection of referee for the Crewe Monday
game means that we won't be seeing him at Prenton Park this
season. No idea who will get our fixture next weekend as a lot
or very little could be riding on it depending how the next
couple of games go for us both.

I would say Simon Mather or Carl Brook

Last time we had Simon Mather was NYD. Last time we had the
latter was…. Tranmere v Crewe last year! I think Ross Joyce
(we’ve not had him this season) or Farai Hallam.

We had Ross Joyce last month v Cheltenham. Seems to have been a
while since we had Simon Mather, think Carl Brook has done
Rovers this season, don't think we've ever had Farai Hallam.
