8 games washed out on day 1.
I find it ridiculous that we are playing county cricket this
late in the season when the weather is less favourable than
early April, all to accommodate this 16.4 over rubbish.
Teams that need points are losing out to the weather.

The weather in September can be quite good but I agree that the
schedule is ridiculous and that I cannot go to watch a T20 /
Hundred game in August unless I am prepared to travel miles.
Went to Vitality Blast Finals Day this last weekend and it was
brilliant albeit cool. Went prepared though.
That Lancashire lost 5 players to England duty was absurd and
Liam Livingstone was very unfortunate and I note Lancashire have
lodged a complaint. However, I am not sure that the third
umpire, who has received some very unpleasant abuse condemned by
Lancashire I should add, was able to overturn the on field
decision based on video evidence. Hampshire looked tired, the
outfield slippery but Somerset thoroughly deserved to win. Even
if they did beat my Warwickshire in the quarter finals!

Agree with above apart from i think the Livingstone decision
should have been over turned. Been to a few finals days in the
past, you do have to pack clothes for all seasons.
Not a fan of September finals myself, the ecb have never learned
from the gillette cup experiences of 10.30 start win the toss
       and win the match.
Looking forward to the t20 blast being played in one batch prob
july ( incl finals day ) rather than three seperate sections.
The downside is the main summer months will be devoid of any
       meaningful cricket ( championship ).

And here lies the problem when we get smashed to pieces in test
       matches.
I think it’s fair to say that the t20 and one dayers, England
       are pretty good.
We should have really put a big emphasis on the longer version
of the game, particularly with the Ashes coming up and the big
       expectations around that.

The weather in England can ruin a cricket match anytime from
early April to late September. Equally, it can be mild and
       sunny in early October .....
