Chelsea v Tottenham Craig Pawson

Good intervention by VAR Gillett to call Pawson for an OFR to
disallow the Tottenham goal. I am very surprised that Pawson
took so long at the monitor but FK and a YC 100% correct. I do
feel it was difficult to see in real time as the ball moves in
the same direction as the fouling players boot. Exactly what VAR
is for.
Otherwise, some tetchy moments but Pawson has stayed calm and
done well so far in my view.

Possibly a red card for Sarr for the foul on Caicedo when Sarr
scored but ruled out by VAR.
Didn’t look reckless to me and i think excessive force should
have been considered, as he was no where near the ball.
Pawson has done relatively well in this hostile atmosphere, and
plenty of niggle and tetchy offerings from both sets of players.

Ahh good point maybe that was why it took a while, they were
thinking of going RC. For me, in the EPL this is always going to
be more yellow where there is a lack of serious force and more
glancing type contact, even though personally I'd have no
problem with red.

As the television pictures replayed, the players involved were
involved in a little altercation just before the challenge by
Sarr.
I do genuinely believe it was an act of serious foul play given
what happened before. I think red should have been very firmly
on the table.

Fair enough, I will have to watch it again.
Otherwise I was worried that Pawson may have been a little
passive for any issues that arose, however his calm approach has
worked very well thus far.

Craig's been very good to be fair to him
Mainiwaring on the other hand just missed a corner kick that a
blind man could see. Another strange decision from him this
season.

I agree but that was a disgusting reaction from Porro there. No
professional should be reacting like that ever

Very poor reaction to a very poor decision from a FIFA official

The Spurs corner at the end immediately followed what should
have been a Chelsea corner. Two bad decisions in a minute.
Both VAR decisions took way too long.
Maddison somehow got away without a booking. I have never seen a
player consistently moan at the ref as much as he did.
