Despite the view of some correspondents on this site, clearly
the authorities maintain their faith in Andrew Kitchen.
Sheffield United v Millwall seems a big game for Sam Allison who
has not particularly convinced me at SG2 level. Fortunately for
him, my opinion counts for nowt in the great scheme of things. I
note Josh Smith is his 4th. An altogether better prospect I
would say. Has Josh Smith been injured again ( he does seem
prone ) ? I haven't noticed his name appearing much but that
may be my lack of observation.

I would be led to believe that Josh Smith has picked up a knock
because I also haven’t seen his name around a lot. I think he
was 4O in the Steel City derby but don’t think he’s been onfield
much at all. He does have a L2 game at Colchester at the weekend
so maybe easing him back for the championship run in.
With regards to Sam Allison, I think his season has been pretty
poor especially since he got quite a bit of praise last season
on here. He had a very solid year last year and was trusted with
some big games. Even some prem games too which he performed
well. Just feels like he’s had one of those seasons where it
hasn’t run too kindly for him

Absolutely beside myself with Ward for Cov Pompey. Hopefully
doesn't come across as a baseless accusation but he genuinely
has the potential to ruin what is likely to be a really good
game with his over pedantic, hard power style. Fingers crossed
for a rare good game.

I have to agree that matches refereed by Gavin Ward are rarely
easy watches.
