M DEAN - Wolves v Man U

A double milestone for the card shark....he has hit the 100
yellows this season and his 100th red in the PL in one foul
swoop tonight.
Can't argue with the red for Young, could have arguably been a
straight red given the follow through.

Indeed reminds me a bit of Boly's red card earlier in the
season, there I agreed with a straight red card here I agree
with a second yellow, the key for me is that although he goes
over the top of the ball like Boly, Young's challenge lacked the
speed and intensity of Boly's and for that reason brings it down
to a yellow card IMO, correct decision for me by a referee who
for me has been the best this season along with Oliver, I won't
even begin to ponder why he hasn't gotten FA cup semi final.

Perhaps the Championship play off final would be a perfect
farewell if he decides to hang up his boots.

Judging from his fitness alone I'd say he has a few more years
to go! I certainly think we need him!

Best Premier League referee by a long distance over the past few
years. Hardly ever gets big decisions wrong, and that continued
tonight. Ashley Young was removing the captain's arm band
before Mike Dean had even fished out the yellow card.

Dean has had the play off final before. Burnley Vs Sheffield
Utd. However I’m sure it’s not like the fa cup and he can have
it more than once
