Looks very soft to be given as a penalty in my opinion that
Greeny. Slightest touch and the lad falls over...

Neil Hair getting stick from both management teams at Wimbledon
for yellow carding 3 players for simulation. Haven't seen the
incidents so can't comment on the correctness of the decisions
or the penalty he awarded.

They all looked like good decisions to me.

Ben Toner at Notts struggled to manage the game against us,
frustrating both sets of players and fans alike. He doesn't
inspire confidence. The general consensus amongst both sets of
fans was that the red card was the only thing he did right!

Charles Breakspear had another good performance Saturday, I must
say. In control throughout and got a first-half penalty spot on.
One big error, was the Charlton goalkeeper made an excellent
save as the ball was goal bound, but the officials were the only
ones in the ground not too see a save.
He sensibly chose to calm a situation down, before issuing
cards.
Good sensible performance from Mr Breakspear.

Have now seen the highlights on Quest. Didn't show the Wimbledon
penalty appeal but felt the decisions that were shown were
correct.

This is exactly what we need from referees. A concerted attempt
to clamp down on cheating. Well down Neil Hair.
Makes a change from the pathetic mealy-mouthed commentators and
pundits "he got a touch and was entitled to go down". Touching
a player who chooses to fall to the ground should never result
in a penalty - there is a huge difference between touching an
opponent and tripping an opponent. A shame more referees don't
appreciate that !

Neil Hair has never been afraid to make big and unpopular
decisions, as proved in last season's play off final with a
first minute red card and previously when he sent off Preston
Edwards after just 10 seconds.

And providing they are correct, long may he continue. 2 very
good decisions, given from credible positions
