Really not sure how Gavin Ward can be anywhere near the
Championship. He was poor tonight again
       [/quote]
He was beyond poor but that's four times he's refereed Burnley
now this season and he's been shockingly poor in all four of
them. Four with Ward and four with the also poor Andrew Kitchen
       is difficult to accept.

The fact Burnley's red card has been reversed shows the poor,
poor decision making by Gavin Ward. Especially after the match,
he clearly made such a clear and obvious mistake.

Hull City (First Team) v Oxford United (First Team)
       Football League Championship
       Referee: Smith, Josh
       Assistant Referee: Lewis, Sam
       Assistant Referee: Read, Greg
       Fourth Official: Doughty, Leigh
Water under the bridge but Josh Smith's decision to send off
Hull's Puerta (2nd yellow) in the last few seconds for
simulation was shocking. Arm in Puerta's back leading to a
penalty - maybe, arm in his back leading to coming together and
play on - maybe, arm in the back leading to a second yellow for
diving - no way. Fortunately the result was not affected.
