       Craig Pawson Cardiff vs Chelsea

Don’t think Pawson and AR Eddie Smart have covered themselves in
glory Pawson has been average at best Chelsea equaliser clearly
offside and Eddie Smart looks unusually off the pace today poor
positioning especially for Chelsea’s second goal

Clear offside for Chelsea's first goal, not much you can say to
defend the lino there. I do believe that a yellow was correct
for Rudiger, it was not DOGSO, nowhere near having possession.
Chelsea's second goal was scored despite a foul by the defender,
       so no issue there.
I did think that Colin was going to explode on the touchline.
No doubt he will talk himself into trouble after the final
       whistle.

Colin ranting and raving and he was correct because it was
offside for the equaliser, however, I did not see a similar
performance in November when Cardiff beat Brighton with a late
Sol Bamba goal which was similar to Chelsea's equaliser and also
not given offside. Swings and roundabouts, how we will miss all
this when VAR rules the roost! :D

Very, very poor decision from Smart - maybe he wishes he was at
the Liverpool V Tottenham game again and could have some more
       'misguided' dialogue with Jon Moss.
Pawson never really dealt with the grappling that was happening
from set pieces - Morrison was clearly fouled at least three
times and he didn't penalise any of them.

Talking of VAR, Craig Pawson today chose to turn a blind eye to
several instances of grappling (aka fouls) by defenders in the
penalty area. Do people think VAR will act on this or pretend
it didn't happen as seems to be the current on field policy ?

Colin was due to explode fairly soon and by heck he did.
Terrible decision for the Chelsea equaliser and unfathomable how
       that was missed.
Colin is an odious individual at times and it’s not surprising
he totally blew his top. That’s who he is unfortunately.

The manner in which he expresses himself may not be the best and
can lead to ridicule but you cannot argue with the sentiment.
Decision that affects both top and bottom of the table.
VAR will not fix everything so we have to hope our officials can
       do their jobs better
As for the "worst officials in the world" that is where Warnock
wanders off into his own lil world

Hyperbole has ruined many a good argument as indeed Warnock has
       done here.
A grave injustice was administered to Cardiff. In my view, a
reaction of sorrow rather than anger is often more effective. It
usually makes the perpetrator of the injustice feel worse.

It was suggested on Sky at the end of their broadcast that
Willian was blocking the assistant referee's view - how do
assistants normally get around this issue? Could it be a tactic
for clubs to use in non-VAR games - just get the corner taker on
that side to stand directly in front of the assistant.

Well at least Cardiff City got an experienced referee this time!
       Yet still he moans....
