Anthony Taylor - Newcastle v Brighton (FA Cup)

Absolute stupidity from Anthony Gordon pushing Van Hecke in the
face. Clear case of violent conduct and an easy red card for
Taylor.
What is in the air this weekend? 😅
Second yellow for Lamptey I think is correct as well with a late
lunge.
Good to see the Semi-Automated technology works too!

Yep, stupidity from Gordon.
The semi automated system seemed to take an age though - I
thought it was meant to be quicker?

I’ve only watched since about 80 mins so I can’t really comment
on the rest of the match. From what I’ve seen I think he’s got
most things correct. Maybe a few calls are borderline yellow
cards but nothing clearly wrong.

Stupidity of the highest order by Gordon to raise his hands to
the opponents face, he will probably miss a cup final because of
hus actions.
Having said that i have seen far worse this season sanctioned
with a yellow card.
Pushing the opponent in the face with two hands is idiotic,
however was there force involved, that i am not sure however Mr
Taylor was very close to the incident and had a very good view
so happy to accept his decision.
If the second yellow card for Lamptey is a yellow card then like
magpie1892 to be consistent i think he should have issued more
cautions during the course of the game.
